The 40th edition of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant was held on December 19 2016, at the Eko Hotel and Suites where Chioma Obiadi (Miss Anambra) was crowned the new Miss Nigeria 2016.
Right after the pageant was an official and exclusive after party which was attended by some dignitaries, celebrities, past and present Miss Nigeria beauty queens.
One Sound Band had a non-stop performance while SQIU serenaded the newly crowned queen. DJ Looney Tunz was there to get the people in a party mode
